A/Prof (Adj) Anil Gopinathan
Organizing Chairperson,
6th World AVM Congress & SNVIS Annual Scientific Meeting 2026
President, Society of Neurovascular Interventions & Surgery (Singapore)
Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is with great pleasure and pride that I welcome you to the 6th World AVM Congress, held in conjunction with the SNVIS (Society of Neurovascular Interventions & Surgery - Singapore) Scientific Congress, from 5th to 7th March 2026. We are especially honored to host this prestigious event in Singapore, marking the first time the World AVM Congress is being held in Asia — a milestone that reflects the growing influence and collaborative spirit of the global neurovascular community.

This year’s congress will bring together thought leaders, clinicians, researchers, and innovators from around the world to share the latest advances, emerging therapies, and groundbreaking research in the management of arteriovenous malformations (AVMs). While AVMs remain a central theme, the program will also encompass a wide spectrum of neurovascular conditions — including ischaemic stroke, cerebral aneurysms, spinal vascular disorders, and head and neck vascular malformations — as well as cutting-edge neurointerventional therapies. The theme of our meeting – Innovation, Collaboration & Transformation in neurovascular therapies.

As we look to the future, we cannot ignore the transformative impact of artificial intelligence and robotics in reshaping the field of neurointervention. These technologies promise to revolutionize diagnostics, precision therapies, and patient outcomes, and their implications will be a prominent feature of our discussions.
Our scientific agenda is designed to be both comprehensive and forward-looking, balancing robust academic exchange with practical insights and hands-on learning. We also aim to foster new connections and collaborations that transcend borders, disciplines, and generations.

Singapore, a vibrant hub of innovation, culture, and hospitality, provides the perfect backdrop for this landmark meeting. We look forward to welcoming you to our shores, where East meets West and tradition meets technology.

Join us in this historic gathering as we push the boundaries of what is possible in neurovascular care.
